8+ Best Spokane Date Nights for Spring

As Spokane finally starts to thaw and the days get a little longer, spring brings a whole new energy to date nights. After a long winter, there’s something refreshing about getting out, trying something new, and soaking up everything our city has to offer again.

Whether you’re planning something low-key and cozy or a full evening out, Spokane has no shortage of options. Personally, I always find myself gravitating toward coffee shops, breweries, and anywhere I can enjoy the outdoors (especially this time of year). If you’re looking for a little inspiration, here are some of my favorite Spokane date night ideas for spring.

1. A Stroll Through Manito Park

There’s a reason I come back to Manito Park every spring. As everything starts to bloom, the gardens completely come to life. With over 90 acres of space, including rose gardens, walking paths, and a conservatory, it’s the perfect place to slow down and just enjoy each other’s company.

Pack a coffee, wander through Duncan Garden, and take your time. It’s relaxed, but it never gets old.

Manito Park is just waking up right now and it's worth a stop April - October.

2. Coffee Shop Hop Around Spokane

If you know me, you know I love a good coffee date. Spokane has such a great local coffee scene, and spring is the perfect excuse to explore it.

A few favorites:
Indaba Coffee

Little Garden Cafe

Both spots have a cozy atmosphere that makes it easy to sit and talk for hours, or grab your drinks and take a walk around the neighborhood.

3. Explore Green Bluff in the Spring

While Green Bluff is known for fall, I actually love it just as much in the spring. It’s quieter, slower, and still full of charm. You can explore local farms, grab fresh baked goods, or even find early-season produce and flowers.

It’s an easygoing, low-pressure date that feels like a mini getaway just outside the city.

Big Barn Brewing is always a good stop!

4. Brewery Date Night

Spring evenings and local craft beer just go together. Spokane has an incredible brewery scene, and it’s such a fun way to mix things up from the usual dinner date.

A couple great options:

No-Li Brewhouse

Iron Goat Brewing Co.

Both offer laid-back atmospheres and plenty of space to relax, try new flavors, and enjoy the longer evenings.

5. Sunset Walk at Riverfront Park & Spokane Falls

There’s something about the sound of the falls that instantly makes a date feel more special. A walk-through Riverfront Park at sunset is one of the easiest (and most underrated) date ideas.

Between the views, the bridges, and the energy of downtown, it’s the kind of place where you can just wander and see where the night takes you.

6. Catch a Show at the Bing Crosby Theater

If you’re looking for something a little more structured, a night at the Bing Crosby Theater is always a good idea. From live music to comedy shows, there’s usually something happening, and it’s a fun way to switch things up from your typical routine.

7. Kendall Yards Night Market (Spring Kickoff)

As soon as the Kendall Yards Night Market starts back up in mid-May, it’s instantly one of my go-to date nights. Local vendors, food trucks, live music, it’s the perfect mix of casual and fun.

Grab dinner from a food truck, walk along the river, and enjoy the community vibe.

8. Dinner with a View + Riverside Walk

Sometimes you just can’t beat a classic dinner date, especially when there’s a view involved. One of my favorites is Clinkerdagger, right along the river.

After dinner, take a walk nearby and extend the night. It’s easy, but it always feels a little special.

Riverfront Park has always been a destination, but the improvements the city has made over the past decade have amplified the magic.

9. Outdoor Adventure Date

If you’re both craving something a little more active, spring is the perfect time to get outside. Whether it’s a casual walk, a picnic, or even something like kayaking at a nearby lake, Spokane has endless options.

Even something as low-key as exploring a new trail or scenic area can turn into a really memorable date.

Verdict: Spring in Spokane is for Love Birds

One of the things I love most about Spokane is how easy it is to create meaningful moments without overcomplicating things. Spring especially has a way of making even the smallest plans feel special, whether it’s coffee and a walk, a brewery night, or a drive out to Green Bluff.

At the end of the day, the best date nights aren’t about what you do, they’re about slowing down and enjoying where you are and who you’re with. And in Spokane, there’s no shortage of beautiful places to do exactly that.
