For a unique and fun date night in Spokane, head to Dry Fly Distillery's tasting room. This local gem housed in the historic, former Spokesman Review printing press building, offers an intimate, laid-back atmosphere where you can sample handcrafted spirits made from regionally sourced ingredients. Try their award-winning gin, vodka, or whiskey while learning about their distillation process from friendly staff. Pair your drinks with delectable small bites or thoughtfully crafted cocktails. 8. Discover Winter Magic at Green Bluff
Though you may think of Green Bluff as only a summer destination, but Green Bluff transforms into a winter wonderland during the colder months. As a resident, I can attest to the wonder. Spend the afternoon taking a long drive through the farm land with way less summer traffic. Though not all locations are open year-round, couples can find cozy spots to sit and enjoy time together. One of my favorite local spots that open throughout the year is Big Barn Brewing Company. I love it so much, I have hosted my annual client appreciation event there.

9. Hike to Mount Spokane Vista House via the Snowshow Summit Route
Spokane’s proximity to nature makes it a great destination for active couples. Plan a winter hike to the Mount Spokane Vista House. Best for hikers with some experience, you'll typically need snowshoes to reach the summit once late fall hits. And starting on December 1st, you'll need a special pass beyond your Discovery Pass. But, the views going up and at the top are well-worth the effort and a great day date activity! Learn more about the hike specifics here.
Not up for the hike? If you ski or snowboard at Mt. Spokane, you can take the ski lift to the top, and it's a short walk to the Vista House. And, in the winter they serve drinks and soup.
10. Visit our Favorite Date Night Spot: 1898 Public House
One of our favorite date nights is a visit to 1898 Public House. What do we love? This restaurant does strike a balance of hometown comfort with an upscale dining experience. And, it's consistent. Located at the Kalispel Golf and Country Club in Spokane, WA. 1898 Public House is conveniently located for much of central and north Spokane. Stepping inside really does feel like a little escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. What to order? We love their coconut prawns! Their martinis are always great, and they have a great burger or fish and chips. While it's not a meal on a budget, their pricing always feels fair for the quality and experience that you get!
